In this episode of the GovFuture Podcast we feature a panel discussion from the January 2024 GovFuture Forum DC event that took place in Washington, DC. The hot topic panel focused on “Government IT Modernization with AI and Data”. The panel discusses how their agencies are approaching IT modernization, including where to start, and best practices. They also discuss what emerging technologies, such as AI, machine learning, or IoT, they are exploring to enhance capabilities within their agencies. Also, how AI discussions are playing out in the federal government.

Data sharing and collaboration among government agencies is crucial. The panel discusses initiatives and best practices they recommend to foster better information sharing without compromising security measures. This was a very thought provoking and engaging panel discussion. There were so many incredible nuggets of knowledge shared throughout this entire panel it’s worth listening to the whole thing.The panelists at this event represented SBA, Bureau of Industry & Security (BIS), Snowflake, and G2X.
