Federal agencies have been embracing automation to help with a number of tasks, freeing up workers for higher value tasks. In this episode of the GovFuture podcast we interview Gopa Nair who is Innovation Adoption Lead, Centers of Excellence, GSA Technology Transformation Services (TTS).

Gopa shares the role that automation, and specifically robotic process automation (RPA), is playing at Federal government agencies. He provides examples of the benefits and efficiencies automation is providing to different government agencies including success stories that others can learn from. However, with any technology there can and will be some challenges as well, which Gopa addresses.

Additionally, he shares why collaboration between different groups and different government agencies is key to expand usage and adoption of emerging technologies in the federal space. Because, there is so much to learn from one another if we take the time to listen and have platforms to help foster collaboration.
