The hot topic panel was focused on “Modernizing IT: AI and Cyber Views”. The panel discussed how federal agencies can effectively leverage emerging technologies such as AI and automation to enhance IT modernization efforts, issues related to data privacy and governance, as well as how different agencies are staying up to date with evolving technologies to effectively mitigate risks around technology adoption and cyber threats. There were so many incredible nuggets of knowledge shared throughout this entire panel it’s worth listening to the whole thing. The panelists at this event represented Census, IRS, and DHS.
