In this episode of the GovFuture podcast we had the opportunity to interview Ms. Eileen Vidrine, who is the Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer at the Department of the Air Force. As the Chief Data and AI Officer Eileen has the opportunity to see how both data and AI impact the US Air Force and Space Force. She also shares with us some of the challenges the Air Force faces in adopting AI technologies and how they are addressing these challenges as well as concerns related to ethics, privacy, and security when leveraging data and AI technologies. We also get the opportunity to talk about the USAF’s approach to data management and governance to ensure effective utilization of this data for AI applications.
