Road To NTDC 2024: State Championships First Hurdle For Past Champs & All Competitors
Recorded on April 3, the second episode of 2024 edition of our NTDC series takes you inside this year’s first state championship, which was held in Louisiana, and we also discuss the approaches the past two National Grand Champions are taking to prepare for their respective state driving competitions. You will hear interviews conducted by Eugene Mulero, a Senior Reporter with Transport Topics, as he talks with defending National Grand Champion Gragg Wilson and Roland Bolduc, the 2023 National Grand Champion. Eugene also speaks with Corey Mitchell, who claimed the Louisiana State Grand Champion’s title this March. In addition to those interviews, Eugene spends some time chatting with Sarah Singelais, who gives us an update on her husband, Brian. As we shared in our debut episode, Brian Singelais is a beloved member of the NTDC community who underwent a heart transplant earlier this year. You can donate to the GoFundMe.com drive to help Brian and Sarah with the expenses related to his heart transplant.
Eugene, who co-authored the book “From Roadeo To TDC” chronicling the history of the event, is joined on the podcast by Greg Thompson, who is the Executive Producer of PodWheels Powered By RadioNemo.
