Your Body Knows: How Unhealed Trauma Manifests in Your Physical Health with Jewelle (Colwell Boldt) Zehr Part 2
Jewelle (Colwell Boldt) Zehr is a Certified Trauma Recovery Coach and Certified Regenerating Images in Memory Facilitator. A trauma survivor herself, Jewelle created The Art of Onward, a platform where she guides clients to healing and rebuilding their lives after trauma by using the exact strategies that saved her own life. She studied at the Life Mastery Institute and is a member of the Energy Medicine Professional Association. In addition to her work as a coach, Jewelle is an award-winning actress, film, and TV producer, and writer. She is the creator and executive producer of SkyeLove Pictures, an actor and voice-over artist for Dark Horse Talent, and the author of several books, including Gratitude Journal: Guided Daily Gratitude and Meditation Prompts.
Jewelle joins me today to discuss how unhealed trauma impacts our physical health and how it manifested in her life as signs and symptoms of disease. She shares how the impact of unhealed trauma later led her to near death and how she had to strive for her own survival. She explains the fears that hinder people from seeking help and working through their trauma. She also discusses the Regenerating Images in Memory healing method and how it works and shares an example of how regenerating can give you back power.
“We can hide from our trauma for many years, but our bodies can’t. We can fake being that high-functioning trauma survivor until the body says, ‘Stop. I’m done. I’m out.’” - Jewelle Zehr
