Jeremiah 23:5–6 declares, “I will raise up a righteous branch from King David’s line… and this will be his name: The Lord is our Righteousness.” Written six hundred years before Christ, this passage foretells the coming Messiah who would make us right with God through His sacrifice on the cross. Jesus fulfills this promise perfectly—and one day He will return as King of Kings to rule with justice and wisdom forever.
