“Learning a Foreign Language”. It was first given on April 23, 1989. Pastor Lee takes a divisive situation head-on that was going on within his parish. He uses the Bible’s prominent lessons, to Love one another, as his basis for delivering this challenging message to a hurting congregation. Pastor Lee takes an interesting tact in addressing the issue that was causing the conflict. Instead of taking sides or expressing his viewpoint, he urges the congregation to focus their energies on loving each other as Jesus commanded us to do, and let God be the one who takes on the issue at hand. Even though this was a very pointed message, given at a specific point in time, it is a great reminder for us all.
