This week on conversations with Ron Richardson, Ron welcomes special guest Danita Tate, and special guest co-host Angela Mitchell (Angie) from the sincerely Angie podcast.

Danita Tate is from Baton Rouge; Louisiana and her background has shaped who she is in many ways. Being the second oldest child of a drug-addicted mother led her to do things that would land her behind bars.

She did things that she didn’t want to do for her siblings to have a roof over their heads and food on the table, but her past has led her to be compassionate about others and to be an advocate for young girls that are in the situation she once was.

Along the way she has learned that everyone is not going to support you nor be a motivator for her but learn how to be a motivator for yourself and learn to know that it’s okay.

The things that set her apart from her counterparts is that she is a survivor and overcomer who is making a difference within her community.

Danita Tate next step is to expand this vision to other communities and develop a relationship with others to show them how important it is to empower yourself and learn from the mistakes made.
