We've reached the halfway point of the year, which means it's time for Party Favorz to drop our annual Catch-Up series featuring the biggest dance club songs of 2024.

Unlike past efforts, we've decided to mix things up by offering alternate versions of some of the biggest dance songs, instead of the versions you're all familiar with. The aim is to create a party mix of your favorite songs, rather than sounding like our end-of-year Top Dance Songs.

In cases where there aren't any alternate versions, we've stuck with the original. There's very little Afro House (a term we dislike) with only a couple of exceptions. So, don't expect the Rivo remix of "You and Me" by Disclosure. Instead, we chose the original Flume remix from 2023 when the song was first released. No one's come close to topping that stellar banger.

The same goes for "Murder On the Dance Floor," which opens this set. Most remixes stick to the original Nu Disco version with a modern update. David Guetta flips the song into a proper banger, setting the stage for this release right from the start.

As usual, we mix in some newer songs that are heating up dance floors because we don't want to wait until our Summer Heat release. Music tends to get backed up this time of year. Adding newer songs alongside earlier releases spices things up and keeps it interesting.
