Host Elle Marquis had planned to do a podcast about small town crime stories, starting with her hometown of Yuma AZ. Thinking it would be one episode, she set out to tell the story about the unsolved disappearance of a girl some of her friends knew, Emily Hieber, but when she reaches out to a mutual friend for a soundbite, she unwittingly gets a clue that would turn her world upside down.
