It was a hot, sunny Summer afternoon in 2023 when state and local officials broke ground on the first phase of a long awaited project to construct a new Ohio River bridge linking Henderson and Evansville. Fast forward to a cool but equally sunny November day in 2025 when many of those same state and local leaders proudly cut the ribbon officially opening Kentucky's future access to the Ohio River Crossing.
