Here's the Deal: Fitness, Nutrition, & Mindset for People Who Don't Want Life to Suck
Practicing Radical Honesty, and Traits of Successful Dieters
You don’t have to suffer to reach your health and fitness goals. You don’t have to burn yourself out. You don’t need to overhaul your nutrition and exercise all at once.
You can focus on one small change, one small habit at a time.
And what happens when you’re working for these small changes, and then life happens? Or vacation, or the holidays, or or, or, or…
Shit happens. Inevitably. And when it does, we can turn down the dial as life requires, without throwing everything away.
That’s what we’re talking about today.
We also talk about practicing radical honesty with ourselves, the lightbulb moments and mental shifts that we all have versus the practical application of those mindset shifts.
We also touch on why it can be incredibly damaging to compare yourself to others… ever, but especially when you don’t know the full.
“If you’re killing yourself over your goals, you’re doing it wrong. Let’s be more efficient with our time and our energy.” - Brooke
“There’s a time to be dialed in, on point, weighing, tracking, measuring, all the things that are going to get you to a very specific goal. And then there’s another time like a vacation where you can loosen up a little bit, AND that doesn’t mean that everything has to go out the window.” - Iris
