Here's the Deal: Fitness, Nutrition, & Mindset for People Who Don't Want Life to Suck
Our Health & Fitness Adventures
Today on the podcast, we tell our stories, how it started and how it’s going. We walk through our first fitness memories and journey through our winding histories of fad dieting and exercise.
We had vastly different upbringings, but they hugely influenced how we handled food and fitness in our young adult lives, and it’s been an interesting experience to dismantle... hiding, hoarding, food insecurity, scarcity, etc…
“It scared me, but I started learning more, and I just absolutely fell in love with it. How it made me feel, how strong I was getting… just the way I noticed I was carrying myself in life more confidently.”
- IrisDeadlifts
“I have an incredibly good relationship with food after years of detriment… I have really developed that “all foods fit” mindset, but the thing I struggled with in the beginning was ‘what does moderation actually look like?’”
- Brooke Madigan
