My guest this week is Katherine Berger. Katherine and her husband Russel are featured in The American Gospel Films and on AGTV – a streaming service that I recommend to all of you who seek to grow in God’s grace. Their story has been told widely, and I’m grateful that she spent an hour with me to tell the story of God’s faithfulness in her life.

Katherine’s Story

Katherine’s story is remarkable because it includes unimaginable physical suffering through medical challenges that have lingered and grown more severe over many years. In this powerful conversation, Katherine tells the story of God’s faithfulness in her suffering. She describes her desires for her family, the challenges her children have grown up with, and her desires for the future.

Katherine’s story is made more remarkable by her firm grip on biblical truth. She acknowledges that God is good, and she is resting in His love for her and her family.

God’s Faithfulness in Suffering

She shares the good news of some signs of improvement as she describes the fact that she can now cook and drive and experience some of life’s pleasures. But she also describes her prognosis and the serious, life-threatening challenges that she continues to face.

This is a conversation that you will want to share broadly. Katherine’s story is impactful. My prayer is that God will use this conversation for His glory in our lives. Katherine’s grace, wisdom, and patience through suffering can only come from our Lord.
