False teachers of various types, particularly those Paul encountered throughout his ministry, believed that obedience is the opposite of disobedience. In this episode we explore the importance of knowledge, a thorough understanding of our Lord Jesus Christ, intimate knowledge in relationship, in our walk in Christ Jesus.

Suffering and Obedience

Suffering is similarly used by God as we grow in Jesus Christ our Lord. Obedience is not just moving away from disobedience – it is growing in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is growing in yieldedness to God, and this often occurs through suffering. Yes, God uses suffering to grow our obedience to Him.
