Tempe is one of the first cities to establish a ethical AI Policy for the city government and approved by the City Council. Dr. Deitrick played the leadership role in crafting this unique and comprehensive AI policy. Learn what led to its creation and what comes next, and how her skill sets in decision support, data-driven decision making, GIS and data analysis contributed to her quest. In addition to her role at Tempe, Dr. Deitrick continues to serve as the program director for Arizona State University’s Master of Advanced Study program in GIS.
