This week’s episode of The Spectacle Podcast adds Sam McCarthy, a contributor to The American Spectator and The Washington Stand, to talk about an event irritating both co-hosts Scott McKay and Melissa Mackenzie – Congressman Max Miller’s attack on Christian pro-life activist Lizzie Marbach over the latter’s profession of faith in Jesus.

Miller demanded Marbach take down a tweet calling Christ the only source of hope, setting off a firestorm all three Spectacle commentators agree was justified. But the discussion takes a wider turn, as McCarthy, Mackenzie and McKay comment on the state of religious freedom and religious relevance in our current culture.

It’s a great discussion and one more reason to subscribe to The Spectacle wherever you get your podcasts!
