When we look at scripture, wealth and riches are used interchangeably. Apart from wisdom itself, the writer addresses wealth and poverty in Proverbs. There are more than 100 verses in Proverbs related to wealth and poverty. Wealth is a gift to the believer when it comes from God; however, it can be a curse if it leads us away from God.
