Miguel is a tennis and watch enthusiast who has been writing about both since the 1990’s, with a degree in the History of Arts. They talk about how he came to write about watches, and how journalism in the watch space was not as present in the media then as it is now. Ariel has Miguel talk about the differences in the luxury watch space throughout the 1990’s until today, and how journalism operated in the pre-social media era. They dive into the backstory of the famous ambassadorship of Tennis legend Rafael Nadal and Richard Mille, and Miguel suggests what kind of restraint someone should have when purchasing one of their first luxury pieces. Ariel talks about the difference between exclusive and inclusive luxury, and how he appreciates the inclusivity that Miguel demonstrates in his work.
