Simon gives us the history behind the idea his great great grandfather had in 1834 involving crafting custom jewelry boxes, and how that progressed over the generations to what they do today. Ariel has Simon dive into his different relationships with brands, retailers, and consumers today, and how they transitioned from a packaging company to a company that makes accessories that consumers and brands both want to buy. Ariel talks about the “niche” luxury accessories part of the industry and where Simon and Wolf 1834 fit in, and they take a closer look at the watch winders and other Wolf devices that the company creates today.
