To start their second attempt at the conversation due to technical issues, the two jump into why Romaric isn't too fond of being considered the “King of Collaborations," and he gives us the backstory on how Seconde/Seconde came to be what it is today. Romaric started by swapping the hands on vintage and luxury timepieces in order to add his own unique vision in creating art with something that already exists. Ariel asks about his mindset when it comes to design, and what his education and experience with art and design was before the creation of Seconde/Seconde. The two discuss how Romaric handles having to decide different types of deals and promotions to compete with other brands, and how he transitioned from working on vintage watches to being commissioned for designs from major brands.
