That's a Bad Sign
The Craigslist rape of Sarah Kastovny and disappearance of Asha Degree
December 2009 in Wyoming - Sarah Kastovny finds an odd Craigslist add. The caption read: 'Need an aggressive man with no concern or regard for women. If interested, contact Sarah,'" providing her address and a picture of her. The ad gets removed after a few days but unfortunately it's too late and Sarah is attacked. Then we cover the case of Asha Degree. On Valentine's day in 2000 the 10-year-old girl sneaks out of her apartment in the middle of the night, never to be seen again. While authorities look for her, suspecting another person might have had a hand in her disappearance, her family struggles to get media attention to help find their daughter.Sources:https://www.oprah.com/oprahshow/craigslist-rape-victim/allhttps://icantbelieveitsnonfiction.com/2018/12/11/jebidiah-stipe/ https://trib.com/news/local/utter-depravity/article_3a17e06f-ee98-531a-adbd-0c71dac1e442.html https://trib.com/news/local/details-emerge-in-web-rape-case/article_edb73077-0bbc-5bc2-b9ea-b3fe5c9aedce.html https://allthatsinteresting.com/asha-degreehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disappearance_of_Asha_Degreehttps://www.jetmag.com/news/iquilla-degree-where-is-my-daughter/https://www.strangeoutdoors.com/mysterious-stories-blog/asha-degreeCrime Junkie episode from Jan 2019: “MISSING: Asha Degree”https://www.reddit.com/r/UnresolvedMysteries/comments/apcynz/thoughts_from_a_local_on_the_asha_degree_case_and/Support the show (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/badsign)
