(Shoshoni, WY)- In this episode of the County 10 Podcast, we sit down with Shoshoni alum and songwriter/producer Keegan Thacker, who shares a passion-driven conversation about music, creativity, education, and giving back to the next generation. In this episode we find out about a fun event happening December 11th.

The heart of this conversation is Sound Lab, a hands-on music program that Keegan co-created within Shoshoni schools. The goal is simple but transformative:
to give students access to musical exploration…whether through instruments, composing, performing, or producing. They also aim to provide a creative outlet many rural students don’t often get.

On December 11th, the Sound Lab program will host a special concert featuring professional musicians as well as student performers who have been developing their skills through the program. This event serves not only as a community celebration of young talent, but also as a fundraiser to help expand the program by purchasing instruments, equipment, and materials.

Another special part of this event is the partnership with the Shoshoni High School Boys Wrestling Team, who will be preparing the dinner served at the concert. A portion of the evening’s admission proceeds will also go toward supporting the wrestling team!
