(Lander, WY) – The KOVE 1330 AM / 107.7 FM Today in the 10 interview series Coffee Time continued today with host Vince Tropea, who recently spoke with Kristina Kuzmic, mother, author, comedian, and content creator, who has made it her mission to spread mental health awareness.
Her book “I Can Fix This: And Other Lies I Told Myself While Parenting My Struggling Child” tells of her journey when her son started experiencing mental health issues in his teens, and how they navigated that process together.
Organized by the Project AWARE program at FCSD #1, Kuzmic will be sharing her story and speaking to folks at Lander schools on Monday, August 18, at 7 PM in the Lander Valley High School auditorium. The presentation is free to all adults in Fremont County.
In addition to chatting about the book and how she made sure her son was a consistent part of the writing process, Kuzmic teases what she will talk about in her upcoming presentation, how she began the Hope and Humor standup tour from last year, the time she won a reality contest with Oprah back in 2011, and much more.
