July 23, 2025

(Fremont County, WY)- If you’ve ever wanted to step up, make a difference, and truly understand what makes Fremont County tick… now’s your chance.

In this episode of the County 10 Podcast, we sit down with Patrick Edwards, a proud graduate of the Leadership Fremont County program. Patrick shares how the program not only helped him grow personally and professionally, but also deepened his connection to the community around him.

Leadership Fremont County is a nine-month leadership development journey open to anyone 18 and older. Since its launch in 2003, it’s been shaping future leaders through immersive experiences—from exclusive site tours to networking with key local figures. Participants learn about everything from county infrastructure and governance to economic development and civic engagement.

The cost to participate is $450, which covers meals, sessions, and activities. Participants are expected to attend all sessions, with only one absence allowed. The application deadline is August 15, and space is limited.

Bonus tip for businesses: The Lander Chamber of Commerce includes Leadership Fremont County enrollment in one of its membership tiers—so if you’re a member or planning to join, this could be a great way to support staff development at no additional cost.

Whether you’re looking to boost your resume, strengthen your community ties, or take the first step toward broader leadership opportunities (like Leadership Wyoming), this is your launchpad.
