13:04:06 From Alicia Schultz : 5.5

13:06:09 From Millie Hsi (she, her, hers) : I do have something to ask.

13:09:37 From Todd Adams : https://menliving.org/blog/events/menliving-invites-a-special-guest-a-muslim-a-jew-and-a-christian-walk-into-a-zoom-room/?fueid=50741&qid=22005&hqid=dba150092c2d11dd014e83dbb11d471d

13:14:26 From Alicia Schultz : My thought: horses don’t talk, and a horse won’t expect him to. So something along those lines?

13:25:35 From Todd Adams : who wants to go after sally?

13:27:20 From jacqueline : I’ll go

13:34:09 From Daryn : better

13:38:17 From Daryn : sending support to Sally. As a mother of 17 and 15 year old sons, I see how much they value, crave and independence. Like, the need for independence is over the top. (Reminds me of the toddler stage when they would say to us “I can do it myself” over and over again)

13:39:29 From Alicia Schultz : His staying up late is likely just a decompression process. Allow him this time to adjust and I bet he’ll figure out what works better for him naturally.

13:41:22 From Millie Hsi (she, her, hers) : I have to just give kudos to Sally for trying this super hard “experiment”. It would be SOOOO hard for me, as I currently also have a 15-year-old daughter and I find myself being much too concerned about her device usage. In this recent article by Peter Gray in Psychology Today, teens need to experience these three things for mental well-being: autonomy, competence, and relatedness. I heard about these three things from Ned Johnson and William Stixrud who wrote The Self Driven Child. The article is here: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/freedom-learn/202203/why-kids-are-suffering-today

13:48:18 From Millie Hsi (she, her, hers) : Amazing, Sally!!!

13:54:54 From Millie Hsi (she, her, hers) : I think Sally is my inspiration now.

13:55:19 From Todd Adams to Cathy(Direct Message) : we need to get to jacqueline

13:57:42 From Sally O’Neill (she/her) : Thanks all for listening and commenting and supporting ❤️

14:07:11 From Millie Hsi (she, her, hers) : Maybe also look for any patterns. Like is there a certain time this always happens. Maybe having some understanding of if it’s a recurring incident at certain times…or what was upstream from the incident is helpful.
