009: Brian Howe: Lawyer turned social entrepreneur

With a career at the intersection of law, social entrepreneurship, and global development, Brian has worn many hats in recent years. He previously founded the Pacific Northwest’s first social enterprise law firm (Vox Legal) and taught the first law school classes on the subject at Seattle University Law School. More recently, he founded Impact Hub Seattle, a shared workspace and incubator for purpose-driven companies. He is an entrepreneur in residence at the University of Washington Center for Commercialization, and teaches global development and law at various graduate universities. Brian is an avid connector sitting on the boards or advisory committees of many influential organizations in Seattle.
