Your brain on YOU

Your brain on YOU

Big Thanks to Brad Campbell (A Short Tale of Bromance)

April 07, 2014

Turn the volume up because I’ve got a Bromance going on… and I’m not even sure he knows about it yet.

Here we go:

Brad Campbell is my favorite blogger online right now.

Now there are several others that come close, yes.

But I’ve learned more from Brad Campbell about how to be an Empower Network blogger than I have from anybody else.

There’s a line from the new Captain America movie (Winter Soldier) where Sam Wilson / Falcon — a regular human being — says, referring to the Cap, “I do what he does — just slower.”

Likewise, for me, I’m not as fast at writing as Brad… yet.

I don’t have the copywriting chops he has… yet.

But I’m getting there. It’s part of the process.

So I enjoy the journey, celebrate good times, hard work, and gratefully acknowledge that I am blessed enough to live in a world where I found an ideal role model without ever having to meet him personally.

Am I saying that Brad’s Captain America? No. (But he’s got great values.)

Am I saying he’s a genetically modified super-human?

Maybe.  Yes.  Sort of.

(Can we change our genes if we change our thinking and our behavior?)

The guy’s a machine… a blogging machine.

And the greatest thing about that is that he shows us, just like all of our heroes on film and in books and art…

… that ALL of us — every single one of us — can become a six-figure blogging machine if we do what Brad does: deliver CONSISTENT value to the marketplace, namely our target audience… the people we want to help… the people we choose to help.

Being a badass is natural when we do it over and over and over again.

That old saying, “practice makes perfect”?

Yes, but also: “Practice Makes Permanent.”

Brad Campbell practices being the most badass MLM blogger daily.

He shows us how to be a badass blogger.

And now, I’m inspired and driven to do the same and show YOU that you can do the same. Also, I prove it to myself as I do it.

You should check out Brad Campbell. I’m sure he’ll inspire you. He might be a role model to you too.

I sure hope that by applying everything I’ve learned from him, that I’m a role model to some folks out there.

Maybe you.

You know, a role model / mentor / peer who’s easy to talk to, down to earth, and also inspiring and insightful.

I love teaching. I also love learning. I love my friends and business partners.

And I tell you what… I value and cherish each and every person who comes to me for guidance, help, instruction, support, inspiration, and in friendship.

I always have. Maybe it’s being the oldest of five boys (to men) in my family, or the values I was raised with, or my experience as a math tutor and now a blogging tutor.

Brad’s the same way. He’s a caring, inherently helpful guy.

I’ve learned a lot from Brad, and I’m still learning. He’s definitely helped me find my own blogging voice and my “angle of attack” for my blog.

And I pass this knowledge on… because we learn best by teaching.

I wish I was this guy’s friend.

I have some great friends, and I would LOVE to hang out with Brad, the “Profit Pimp.”

From the audio (recorded while hiking in the beautiful McDowell Mountain Park… the Arizona desert):

I just want to say Thank You to Brad Campbell, a man from whom I’ve learned a lot…

Brad,

Thanks!

I straight up copied you and your style.

And it’s because you are so generous, such a leader, and allowed me to copy, that I was able to form my own voice and way of doing things based on the foundation of Value that you laid out for everybody on your blog — for the whole world to see.

I love and respect your courage.

I appreciate you.

I love your leadership.

From the bottom of my heart: Thank you, Sir.

I wouldn’t be where I am today without you.

Literally.

I’ve learned so much from you it’s indescribable…

Not just in standards of behavior and quality you’ve set, but in HOW to do the specific things in blogging that scientifically and strategically get you more traffic, leads and sales.

You are definitely the best in the field.

And I’m striving to continue the standard you’ve set and raise the bar with you.

:-)
