Sue Brannan Walker is Professor Emerita at the University of South Alabama and Publisher & Editor of Negative Capability. She was Poet Laureate of Alabama from 2003-2012 and has published 10 books plus 100s of poems & articles on Southern subjects & authors. A new book is forthcoming from Clemson Univ. Press in 2017. Her book, "The Ecological Poetics of James Dickey“ is the recipient of The Adele Mellen Prize for its distinguished contribution to scholarship.
