Alisen McLeod has been a primary music specialist in Brisbane schools for 20 years. At her current school, Alisen coordinates a busy program of classroom music lessons, choirs and instrumental music classes for over 1000 students. In her role as current President of Kodály QLD, Alisen is passionate about providing practical support and training for music teachers across all of QLD.

Cathy Cheel has taught for 38 years – in the classroom, as a music specialist and in her own music school. Her love of music started as a child and she performed in musicals in her early years, producing and directing later on. Cathy is passionate about Kodaly and studied this method of teaching music at UQ under Judith Johnson. She particularly loves singing in, and conducting choirs, and counts herself blessed to be making a difference in the lives of little people every day.

Heather Francis is a primary music specialist with Education Queensland in suburban Brisbane. She has a passion for choirs – has loved singing in choirs since her first choir at the age of 8, and currently has three choirs at her school.
