On this episode we’ll be discussing Stereotypes. From school age all the way up to old folks homes, there are stereotypes. These can vary between race (smart Asian, drunk scotsman), gender (bad women drivers, men being “pigs” or perverts), to musical preference stereotypes (metalheads, moshers, goths) and even religions (pedo priests, extremist islam bombers, nature loving pagans). Today we’ll discuss why stereotypes exist, if they are useful at all and whether the stereotypes were created to describe people or if people try to change themselves to fit a stereotype.
