Dr. Caroline Taylor-Walker the owner of Surf Coast Home Doctor has just opened a new clinic in Torquay called Medical Skin Clinic. The clinic is a Doctor led Medical Skin Clinic that specialises in skin cancers and non surgical cosmetic procedures. Caroline starts of by sharing with us the story of  the Surf Coast Home Doctor and how it almost grew by itself on Facebook! When she was studying medicine in England her passion was always the study of skin treatments and her dream was to open her own clinic – and what better pace to offer skin cancer services than by the beach in Australia.

The clinic has been opened for nearly 6 months now and there has been some challenges for Caroline and her team. There is industry restrictions on Doctors publishing testimonials, which is currently being challenged by doctors and has meant that Caroline has needed to be both careful and creative when using social media to grow her business.

Caroline takes us behind the curtain of the business to tell us all about what she has learnt so far – what the response has been from the community, how she is growing the business and what secrets she is planning for the future.
