On the Yellow Click Road Business Innovation Show this week we were joined in the studio by friend of the show, Katrina from Whitehill Wine Company, who is also the Event Organiser of the Drink Art Food Torquay Festival!

The Festival is a weekend long celebration of artists, wineries, breweries and showcasing small business from the Surfcoast and has grown very quickly in size in only 3 years, with this year’s Bell Street Fiesta likely to attract 5000 people and cost $65,000 for the day. In today’s interview we go behind the curtain to find out how this not for profit event has been created, how the business is run and how she has managed to grow the event so quickly.

Bikram Yoga is opening in Torquay on the same weekend as the DAFT festival, so I thought it timely to revisit our interview with Gail about her secrets to growing the business. Also this week I received a Tile in the mail which is an interesting new technology startup who are building the worlds largest lost and found by producing a small tile that you can attach to your dog or keys or remote control and if lost, find on your mobile device.
