Based in North Carolina, Amanda Rodriguez is certainly working hard to accomplish her goals as a professional wrestler. Spending around half of every week doing in-ring training with a boyfriend providing guidance, you would think that the Raleigh native has enough of an edge with her development. But no – she’s also working with Highspots as well as with ArenaChicks founder Amber O’Neal to learn as many facets of the industry as possible.

We’ve spoken to Amanda about making sure she isn’t molly-coddled in her training, having multiple places nearby for bookings, intergender wrestling, being taller than most other female wrestlers, and how much confusion there is between she and the similarly-named Amber Rodriguez. Have a listen.
