Kaitlin Diemond is one of those wrestlers who has no safety net. Quitting her job last year, the Canadian’s full-time income comes from lacing up the boots and stepping into the ring. It’s one of the reasons why the 24-year old is doing her best to expand her profile and marketability.

So far in 2014, the Toronto, ON resident has travelled to Mexico – wrestling under a mask and without one – competed on the Beauty Slammers tour in Canada, extended her winning streak in NCW Femmes Fatales and danced her way to the ring as one of Adam Rose‘s Rosebuds, netting herself a WWE tryout along the way. We discuss all of the above as well as her feelings on the feedback she received, how a WWE ring feels compared to an indie one, as well as how many strides she’s made in the last six months of her ongoing 8-year career.
