Ep 64 Jennifer Urezzio – Coaching with Soul

April 08, 2016

Today's Guest - Jennifer Urezzio from Soul Language

For many people, coaching and personal development contain an aspect of spirituality. But it's often taught in coaching schools from an academic point of view with little or no mention of spirit. Yet so many of the - from Pema Chodron to Brene Brown, Marianne Williamson to Oprah Winfrey - our profession is rich with diverse beliefs on spirituality, soulfulness and religion.

So today I'm thought I'd tackle the subject head on - as someone who doesn't ascribe to a particular religion or spiritual philosophy, I nevertheless struggle to find a better word to describe the connections, leaps and insights gain as part of the coaching relationship other than...soul.

Even so, I wouldn’t class myself as someone who has spiritual certainty. Which is how I started my conversation with today’s guest when she invited me onto her radio show to discuss spirituality. In fact, I turned the invite down because of my belief that I didn’t have anything to offer her audience.
Thankfully Jennifer Urezzio was having none of it and immediately invited me onto Skype to discuss my concerns and misconceptions. 30 minutes later it was like I’d met my long long spiritual bestie – not only was she totally grounded, human and normal (I think I’d been expecting someone pretty etherial, crystal wearing and pious) but she was funny as hell! We hit it off and I not only became a guest of her show but I was thrilled that she agreed to be on mine too.
Jennifer Urezzio is a master intuitive, author, teacher and speaker. She founded her own business, Blooming Grove, Soul Language‘s parent company, in 2004 in response to her intuitive senses and ability to help others feel better about themselves both holistically and naturally, working closely with them to generate a feeling of strength and well-being.
She specializes in helping people connect – to themselves, to each other, and to the Divine. She founded a new paradigm, Soul Language, which provides guidance for understanding our true nature and tools for accessing deeper levels of awareness. This new insight into how the Soul expresses itself is being embraced by top healers, lifestyle coaches, and CEOs all over the world as a method for helping people recognize their purpose and live from a place of power and truth. Her modalities of strength include Soul Language™, essential oils, therapeutic kinesiology and pranic healing, among others.
I was fascinated to get into conversation with her about how those of us who are seekers rather than fully card carrying members of the ‘woo woo’ club can tap into our intuition, awareness and yes, goddamnit – soul.
It’s a great conversation – Jennifer is full of fun and insights and we really hit it off.
