What makes love last? In our episode on love and communication, relationship counselors Gabrielle and Annette share with us some beautiful lessons on love while opening up about their own relationship along the way.

How often do you go to dinner with your partner, and one or both of you is on your smart phone, almost in a different world? How often do you feel that you are truly connecting? Do you feel committed to communicating in an open and loving way? How do you see your partner: with all of the stories of your past layered on top of one another or do you see them with fresh eyes, allowing them the space to grow and evolve?

Gabrielle and Annette talk about these kinds of questions in this open and loving interview. They reveal some of their own greatest challenges in their relationship and how they overcame them to be where they are today: 14 years together and still very much in love.

Gabrielle Caplice and Annette Baker are contributors to Women In Livingness Magazine, presenters for Esoteric Women’s Health, and counsel couples all around the globe. They met working in a restaurant together, often observing other couples. When surveying the restaurant, they would pick out which people seemed to be truly in relationship. Their mutual passion for people-watching and commitment to love in their own partnership opened up a new world of service for others with a never-ending dedication to the development of relationships.
