I first discovered her awesomeness in the Free QuiltCon Lectures series on Craftsy. If you haven't watched this series before, what a treat!

I have been asking everyone who stands still long enough for advice these days. I want to be a professional quilter and was thrilled to chat with Jacquie Gering over lunch while breaking from her amazing class - Improvisational Log Cabins.

I was even more pleased to join her later in the evening and get another chance to visit with her. Having a recording of our conversation is the next best thing to being there!

Whether you identify as a Modern Quilter or not - she has gems of advice in her Improvisational Piecing, Modern Design class and her most recent class, Creative Quilting with Your Walking Foot has very quickly become my favorite class to date.
