Meet Michael and Tina Sena, long-time bodybuilders and accomplished personal trainers.  Together (at least on paper) they own Michael Sena’s Pro-Fit, located in Dyer, Indiana.   To us it looks like a gym, but Michael is quick to point out that the word “gym” does not apply to his business.  Rather, it is a  a “small-group personal fitness and training facility”.  To me it still sounds like a gym.

Anyone who’s been in a relationship knows there can be challenges.  Working with you partner can take those challenges to a whole different level.  Throw in an undervalued wife/business partner and an ego studded with male chauvinism and machismo, and you’ve got the makings of a very frustrating business experience.

As we see in this episode of “The Profit”, it often takes an outsider like Marcus to recognize the gold hidden within undervalued members of the business and bring it to shine in its own right.

If you don’t have emotion, and you don’t have passion, and you don’t love what you do then you shouldn’t be in business.  Because money is a by-product, it’s not the purpose.
