“The Profit” – Season 1, Episode 6 - Mr. Green Tea

In this episode of the Wisdom of the Profit Podcast, we discuss Marcus Lemonis’ encounter with the Emanuele family, owners of gourmet ice cream company, Mr. Green Tea.  Unlike the other businesses on The Profit this season, Mr. Green Tea was not in imminent danger of closing.  Instead, over-conservative business strategies had led them to become complacent and even stagnant.

A radical difference in the business styles of father Richard and son Michael was also causing tension.  Marcus sees great potential in this frozen treat company, so it’s up to him to encourage compromise that will in turn create growth for the business.
