Sara Hastreiter is part of the only all-female team in this year's Volvo Ocean Race, a 38,000 nautical mile sailing race considered to be the Mount Everest of sailing. She is part of Team SCA, the only all-female team to compete in over a decade.

So what made a 25-year-old sailing novice want to take part in one of the most challenging team sports on the globe? Definitely a Why Not Girl! attitude.  Sara Hastreiter spoke with Why Not Girl! founder Lauren McCabe Herpich about the race and how she got into sailing.
