Lambert Airport was named after Albert Lambert who was a silver medal winner in the 1904 Olympics as part of the mens golf team. Albert Lambert was also the first St. Louis resident to hold a pilots license. Did you also know that Lambert Airport used to be one of busiest airports in the United States?
