Who's Who in St. Lou Show

20 - Jeff Nations of Various Hands

April 13, 2016

On this episode of the Who's Who in St. Lou Show, I bring you a St. Louis native musician Jeff Nations of local Indie Rock band Various Hands.
Jeff talks about his time growing up in the St. Louis area and shares some thoughts of being able to spend time in the summer down at the Lake of the Ozarks and other outdoor activities.
Of course being a musician, Jeff shares what led him to become a musician, how Various Hands came to be along with what his first and favorite concert was and what it is like being a substitute teacher when he is not playing music.
If you enjoyed the clips you heard during the beginning and ending of this episode, they are of the track "Lipstick" which you can hear in its entirety at Soundcloud here or of course on Spotify and iTunes. But like every good artist, make sure to support them by buying a CD or individual songs.

St. Louis fun fact
Did you know that famed author, poet and civil rights activist Marguerite Annie Johnson, who is best known to the world as Maya Angelou, was born here in St. Louis and lived here for a few of her early years?
The house that Angelou spent her first 3 years of life living in is still standing at 3130 Hickory Street which is just east of Compton Avenue.
