Our words have power. But whether power is good or bad is dependent upon how the one who has the power uses it.  We should use the power of our tongue to minister life to others and not death. Some say sticks and stones may break my bones but words can never hurt me. That is so far from the truth. Verbal abuse can virtually kill a person. This teaching is a reminder for us to use the power of our tongue to minister life.
