To suffer as a Christian is not an anomaly. Trials and unpleasant challenges occur in the lives of Christians just as they do among unbelievers. When we are tested, we should not think something strange has happened to us. It is God who allows us to suffer as a Christian. We have been called to be partakers of the sufferings of Christ. This is a given for every Christian. We cannot change that reality.
