When you develop a wound, particularly on your feet or legs, you are entering a critical period when every effort must be made to control and heal the damaged area.  With diabetes, wounds can quickly digress to a gangrenous stage which can lead to amputation in a matter of days or weeks.  This week on VoD, Elaine Soter, M.D., Director of the Wound Care Center Midwest Regional Medical Center tells us about an aggressive team approach to limb salvage and steps to take to keep your toes and feet.
