It’s only with Christ that we can constantly & consistently choose humility. 

Jesus calls His followers to love others the same way we love ourselves; to be defined by our compassion towards both our friends and our enemies. But why is it so difficult to sustain the kind of empathy and compassion that Jesus commands?

Jesus longs for every one of us to be the 4th kind of seed. Fortunately for us, we worship an exceedingly patient God who has not given up on us. Let’s start moving in that direction today. 

Jesus teaches His disciples the ways that were useful and effective in the past in leading people closer to God, over time can lose its power and effectiveness, and, if stubbornly clung to, can begin to erode all the good that was created.
