This super-clean 1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo came to the V8 Speed & Resto Shop with a bad lobe on the camshaft, and the V8 team brought it back around with a new 400 cubic-inch roller-cammed engine from Blueprint Engines. It’s fueled by a FAST EZ-EFI system, spins a built 2004R transmission and a Moser 31 spline 12-bolt rear. But perhaps the best part about the car is how it instantly took the V8 Speed & Resto Shop’s Kevin Oeste right back to a great time in his life with a very similar car.
