Today we explored David’s battle with Goliath.  Many may think that the significance of this passage is that the little guy can beat the big guy, if he tries hard enough. But the truth is, that this story is all about David knowing God and His promises.  David not only knew God’s promises, he believed the promise, and he acted on the promises. When we obey God we experience God’s victory and peace.
